If you didn't make it to the Bilal show at Commonwealth Lounge last night, don't feel bad--at the very least,  you can watch the latest Bilal video, which has been called a "jam session," "an act of improvisation without preparation." Singer Bilal and composer/arranger Miguel Atwood-Ferguson put together a video for "Tainted Love"--the 1981 hit by Soft Cell.

In last week's interview, Bilal talked about having more control over the creative process at a small indie label. "We choose our own representation and make a conscious effort to either accept the direction they want us to be going in or to create it."
