Gettin' Made: BAM Fest Tomorrow in Santa Monica
Looking for something to do this weekend? How about an event that combines your love of booze, paintings and tunes? You're in luck--the first Beer, Art and Music Festival takes place tomorrow to bring you three great tastes that taste great together!
After the jump, details on how to get your culture-filled drink on.
A toast to past Gettin' Made featured artist Stephanie Han Windham for passing on the word about this event going on tomorrow in Santa Monica! The Beer, Art and Music Festival is a celebration of locally produced art, music and the finest craft beers around. With 20-plus breweries, four bands, three galleries, open artist studios, gourmet organic food provided by the Green Truck and sweet treats by the Big Swirl Truck, B.A.M. Fest 2010 is poised to draw a fun crowd and become Santa Monica's 'hoppiest' annual event.
All proceeds benefit 18th Street Arts Center, a Santa Monica 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Plus, if you mention Create:Fixate (the folks wrangling the art portion of the event) upon entry, they'll receive a donation from the ticket sales.
The Beer, Art and Music Festival takes place on Saturday, Oct. 2 from 1-6 p.m. at the 18th Street Arts Center at 1639 18th Street, Santa Monica, 90404. Tickets cost $35 per person, and include a B.A.M. Fest logo tasting glass and unlimited sampling, five hours of live music, exploration of artist studios and galleries, and the joy of drinking some of the best beers around.
