A friend who's recently moved to Southern California from the Midwest randomly commented that "LA loves David Bowie--you hear him everywhere!"

That may be true, and the reason that public radio station KCRW (89.9 FM and KCRW.com) decided to celebrate the Sept. 28 release of David Bowie's 1976 album Station to Station by remixing the single, "Golden Years."

Apparently, there's a reason LA loves Bowie: Station to Station was remixed in LA. ll four remixes are streaming online at www.kcrw.com/bowie. Check out what DJs Jeremy Sole, Eric J. Lawrence (Fol Chen lead singer), Anthony Valadez and Chris Douridas had to say about the process here as well!
