Gram Rabbit's Todd Rutherford Not Worried About Pappy & Harriet's Sale--Fear Not, LA Weekly and LA Record!

Today our sister publication LA Weekly blogged that the musical hippie hideout in the desert, Pappy & Harriet's, is for sale to the tune of $1,890,000 (via LA Record). This is kind of old news, but this is the first time we've seen an actual real estate listing!
But hey--if our psychedelic desert homies Gram Rabbit aren't worried about the sale, why should we be? As Todd Rutherford told us last July in an interview:

We heard (iconic Pioneertown venue) Pappy and Harriets was for sale. Are you concerned by this?
Not too concerned. The current owners are close friends of ours so the idea of them moving away is the toughest thing to swallow. They've created an amazing scene at Pappy's and I have faith that if and when they sell it they will be sure it is to someone who will continue building on the foundation they will being leaving behind.
