At the 2010 Comic-Con International in San Diego

Remember when we blogged about why Comic-Con shouldn't move to Anaheim or LA?  Turns out the Comic-Con International, the largest comics convention in the world heeded our advice and today announced it will be staying in San Diego "for the foreseeable future."

Although Comic-Con has had to cap attendance at about 125,000 people every year since it reached capacity in 2007. Its lease at the San Diego Convention Center ends in 2012, and although Anaheim and LA were considered as venues to move to, Comic-Con will stay in San Diego through 2015.

Tomorrow, a press conference will tell the world exactly WHY the Con decided to stay in San Diego. We'll keep you posted. In the meantime, if you have any ideas, post them in the comments!
