Rapper and producer Camu Tao--born Tero Smith--died of lung cancer two years ago. He was 30.
Tao was half of the duo S.A. Smash with fellow rapper Metro, a part of the rap group Weathermen, and the Central Services production team with El-P.
When he died, he was working on his first solo album for Def Jux. Now that album, King of Hearts, is set for release on Aug. 17 by Def Jux in collaboration with Fat Possum Records.
