• ticket pricing is 50 to 100 bucks, that is a fucking rip off to see one band, plus the fees youre looking at over 60 bucks. it goes to charity, but thats still way over priced.

• Sorry to post another rant but this is not a profiling issue. You do something illegal then the officer asks for identification of status. Our viewpoints on the laws are so polarized we can not have a meeting of the minds I would have to conclude. So now I poise a hypothetical question, if an officer who sees an individual run a red light and was pulled over w/o any prejudice, and the individual was an illegal, what should be the course of action? Should he be detained and deported? What are your thoughts?

That can not be the basis of your argument. Colonization?!? Your so-called "people" have fought over land centuries prior to the colonization of America. Why aren't you up and arms over the colonization of Mexico by the Spanish? The Spaniards enslaved locals, rape and pillaged native villages just as the English. The theory of social Darwinism is true and real. The strongest survive. On another note, Alex, Illegal immigration is not the scapegoat as you fear the authorities are targeting as they combat the shortfall of revenue by the State of Arizona and other states who have an ongoing illegal immigration issue. The problem is real and a constant drain on the economy at the state level. As tax revenues are used to house illegal immigrants in their jail systems, unlimited resources of free health-care, free school systems, and countless other welfare programs, to those who do not pay a single penny, how is that fair? Therefore, how would a state combat illegal immigrants if the federal system chose to turn their backs on the boarder security? What is the root of the problem? Big business? No. Mom an pop stores who employ illegal immigrants? No. If the border was secured, would we have less illegal immigrants? Of course. So now we have a catch-22. A) The government does not want to secure our border. B)Arizona wants a secured border but does not have funding from the federal level as well yet has no legal right to protect a federal border. So how does one protect its citizens from illegal immigrants w/o the opportunity to secure its own border, arrest them and use the scare tactic. Is is working? That last I heard, illegal immigrants were scrambling to get out of Arizona.

• King BAEK and Stephen McNeil, There is definitely a lot to be said about enforcing laws against illegal immigration. There must be an orderly way for people to cross borders under the supervision of United States authorities. However, this law goes beyond simply enforcing an orderly border. The text of the law reads "A law enforcement officer, without a warrant, may arrest a person if the officer has probable cause to believe that the person has committed any public offense that makes the person removable from the United States." This means that any person an officer is suspicious of can be arrested WITHOUT COMMITTING A CRIME and WITHOUT A WARRANT! This is not only asking for racial profiling but also granting excessive power to law enforcement and legislating an infringement on the Constitutionally-protected liberty of Arizonians. The law also states that whenever there is "reasonable suspicion" an officer MUST verify immigration status of the suspected person. He is REQUIRED TO and if he doesn't he can be sued by any citizen who determines he is not doing his job right. This further encourages racial profiling, the harassment of the people of Arizona, and the abuse of power by law enforcement! This law is not about border security. It is a strategical move to redirect the angst of the suffering American working class away from the real perpetrators who control our government on to the suffering Mexican working class, who are not the cause, but the SYMPTOM of the problem created by unregulated Big Business exploiting all peoples across the world. It is meant to incite a subtle fear that grows over time and persuades people to continue to give up their liberties and grant excessive power to government in the name of security and economy - neither of which does our government in the United States have a vested interest in providing to the American people.

• immigration laws are the least serious laws I would break to feed my family. Like American Icon-Bruce Springsteen says on his album "Ghost of Tom Joad" "Hunger is a powerful thing".

• Look people let me start out by saying I am in no way a racist My entire moms side of my family is Mexican. But with that said America as a whole has a serious problem with illegals coming into America in floods. They just happen to be Mexicans it has nothing to do with the color of there skin it has to do with the fact that we cannot continue to house and support these people (regardless of race). Again nothing to do with the color of their skin at some point we as a nation need to stand up and say look if you want to come here to it legally and its going to take time. • King BAEK, Just because your white laws werent in place when your ancestors crossed an entire ocean to steal this land, doesn't mean there werent laws already in place outlawing the theft and ra9e of an entire continent by white illegal aliens, wiping out 95% of the native people, destroying their culture and erasing their history. I am an immigrant, at age 4, parents who couldn't speak a single word of English, who managed to come to the State LEGALLY. We have relatives out of the US who are wanting to come to the states, LEGALLY, waiting years, even decades to live the American dream. What gives the rights for those who ILLEGALLY come into the United States and take (welfare, use resources of an already overcrowed school system, bankrupt an already overstrained hospitals. Why are so many people up in arms to combat illegal immigrants who a)do not pay taxes b)do no assimilate c)make up 1/3 of the prison population d)take resources more than they give. I don't get it.
