More On Guided By Voices' "Classic" Lineup

On Spinner, Guided By Voices singer Robert Pollard talked about who will be present at the Matador reunion we talked about a few days ago here. Given that GBV has always had a revolving lineup, having Tobin Sprout and Mitch Mitchell on guitars, Kevin Fennell on the drums, and Greg Demos on bass makes for one show to look forward to.
And because the "classic" lineup is from 1993-1996, Pollard said that they'll be playing music from that same period: songs from the albums Propeller, Bee
Thousand, Alien Lanes, and Under the Bushes Under the
Stars, "as well as from singles and EPs
from that era." Awww, yeah.
