After Carole King and James Taylor's concert on July 20, the Honda Center, the Anaheim Ducks and ARAMARK (Honda Center's food and beverage partner) will start donating all unused, leftover food to local Anaheim charities. The venue is working with Rock and Wrap It Up, a national think tank seeking to reduce poverty.
The first charity donation will be made to the Anaheim Interfaith Shelter. Rock and Wrap It Up has worked with various major venues and the NHL since 1991. How it will work: after each Honda Center event, Aramark staff will cover and box all unused food items for pickup. Rock and Wrap It Up's volunteers, will pick up the food and deliver to the chosen charity.
