British singer-songwriter Frank Turner, former lead singer of punk band Million Dead and heir to Billy Bragg's songwriting throne, wants fans to submit their own songs for a chance to be featured as the B-side to his upcoming vinyl 7" single for his song "Try This At Home," from his album Poetry of the Deed.
"Try This At Home" which is streaming now at his MySpace site, features the lyric, "turn off your stereo, pick up that pen and paper, you could do much better than some skinny half-arsed English country singer."

Turner's putting his money where his lyrics are; you can enter your original song at his label Epitaph's website by uploading an MP3 at www.epitaph.com/demolition. The winner will be selected on June 14 by a panel of judges that include Turner, Alternative Press magazine and Epitaph staff and the winner will be announced on June 18.
