Canvas + Berlin = ???

​Here's some news from Santa Ana indie popsters Canvas:

1. They are playing at the Hotel Cafe on 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18.
2. They released an acoustic E.P. last month and are heading into the studio in July.
3. They are opening for the schlocky '80s band Berlin at House of Blues Anaheim. Well, schlocky might not be the right word, but I was surprised they were still around. This news takes my breath away. (Sorry! Sorry! I couldn't help it!)

Hey -- you could just go for Canvas, if you wanted to. I would recommend messaging them on their Myspace page to get tickets, actually. Then you can see them do this, but on a real stage!
