Avi Buffalo played Fingerprints in Long Beach last month. More pics here.
Awwww. Yesterday, Pitchfork called Long Beach's Avi Buffalo " super-cute Cali indie freshmen." They're so right!
The quartet, which recently came back through the homeland after dropping their Sub Pop debut, just released the video for their lovely, Shins-like single, "What's In It For?" And the video has all of the images you inadvertently think of when listening to Avi Buffalos's music: woodlands, fairytale creatures, high schoolers playing guitars, awkward sex. Wait, scratch that last one. No awkward sex here.
