| What's up ese? Santa Ana's Free The Robots |
Santa Ana's multitasking Chris Alfaro, a.k.a. Free The Robots, is a busy man. Somehow finding time between co-running Orange County's beacon of all things hip the Crosby, he's written and produced one of the year's strongest local albums.
Ctrl Alt Delete, released yesterday on iTunes, Turntablelab.com and Boomkat (and also reviewed by us
here,) is a tour de force in bass and psychedelia.
To
celebrate the album, Free The Robots is having a record release party
tonight at the Low End Theory club night held at the Airliner in Los Angeles.
For those of you not willing to make the trek, have no fear. You can
still get your weird on at the Crosby on Friday, celebrating the establishment's
two years of existence and enjoying the official OC release party for
Ctrl Alt Delete with DJ sets from Free The Robots and Kutmah.
Low End Theory is tonight at the Airliner, 2419 N. Broadway, Los Angeles, at 10 p.m. $10.
