The only thing that makes us prouder than writing about kick-ass bands inside our county lines is watching them combine forces to kick-ass for charitable non-profit organizations.
This weekend, seven local bands are taking over the Yost Theater stage in Santa Ana for a Multiple Sclerosis benefit show presented by Turkey and Friends. This Santa Ana based organization specializing in throwing small fundraising events for MS and Cancer research. The show starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are available for $8 in advance and $10 at the door.
Featuring a slew of OCMA nominees/award winners and Locals Only alumni, the full line-up includes Stereofix, Stacy Clark, Beta Wolf, Relative Strangers, We Are the Pilots and I Hate You Just Kidding. All proceeds from the event go to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The ticket also a raffle and prizes from Hurley, Paul Frank, Stussy, Obey and more.
