RX Bandits, "Hope is a Butterfly, No Net Its Captor"

Categories: long beach, videos

In case all of you RX Bandits fans haven't already seen it, the Long Beach-based band has a new music video for their song "Hope is a Butterfly, No Net Its Captor (Virus of Silence)" from their latest album Mandala (read about it here). After reviewing it thoroughly, we have one simple piece of advice for you: beware of the Paper Bag Mafia.

Donning sharp, three-piece suits, paper bag masks, comfortable sneakers and an arsenal of  recyclable weaponry, the band spends almost four-and-a-half minutes terrorizing unsuspecting victims stealing their balls--and rectangles and cubes. Yeah, we know it doesn't make sense to you right now, and maybe it still won't after you've finished watching the video. But overall, it's pretty entertaining and it'll definitely make you think twice the next time the checkout clerk at the supermarket asks you if you want paper or plastic. Make sure to catch the band at Coachella on Saturday, April 17.
