Show of the Day: Pop Noir at Detroit Bar

​Local-ish faves Pop Noir bring their bouncy indie rock back to Detroit Bar for the final night of the trio's November residency. I'm digging the band's edgy, ebullient, at times moody, dance rock, which should make for a much better Monday night show than I've seen in recent memory -- and a great way to closeout my first day as Music Editor at OC Weekly. 

Oh, and you can't beat the price: gratis!

I'm not looking forward to witnessing the famed Santa Ana winds wreak havoc but am glad they've inspired a pretty killer tune. Here's Pop Noir performing "Santa Ana" "live at the Key Club, Hollywood, on April 24, 2007."
