Remember the Willows? They're back! In Pog form!

Well, that's just not true (unfortunate, yes). But they are back with a new album, Everyone, scheduled for release on November 17. It's their second album on Steve Aoki's Dim Mak label, following 2007's Chautauqua.

OC Weekly has a long history with the band, formed in Anaheim in 2002. Why, former music editor Rich Kane called their self-titled record one of the best albums of 2003, stating that the band truly knew how to "sculpt the perfect two-minute rock tune."

Though they haven't released a record in a couple years, they've hardly been idle in that period; touring last fall with the Hives and Eagles of Death Metal (pretty great company as far as live bands go). They've got no live shows currently on their schedule, though. (Sad times!) Should be interesting to see where the new album takes them. We'll be listening.
