The Union Line Sign to RCA/Black Seal

Another local band has signed to a major label: San Juan Capistrano's the Union Line have signed with Black Seal, an imprint of RCA Records--part of Sony Music Entertainment.
The news was announced last night via the band's Twitter, as these things tend to happen nowadays: "At the Mondrian hotel. Just signed with RCA/Black Seal." Not much else in the way of details at this point, but the band has been in talks with the label since at least July, when we first heard from the band that the deal was a possibility. (Hey, these things take time!)

Black Seal is a fairly new arm of RCA, currently featuring just three, fairly diverse, acts on their roster: Oakland's Audrye Sessions, Wisconsin's Cory Chisel and the Wandering Sons, and Strokes guitarist/solo artist/Gibraltarian rock royalty Albert Hammond, Jr--certainly not the worst company a band could ask for.
