Live Nation's Latest Promotion: 'Twitter Scavenger Hunt'
Categories: Twitter, music news
First were this summer's "No Service Fee Wednesdays," then the "Club Passport," where fans can get into all participating shows (which is definitely not "all shows") at a specific venue they choose to attend from now until the end of the year for a one-time price of $49.99.
Tomorrow (Wednesday), they're doing a "Twitter Scavenger Hunt," which sounds fairly ridiculous but could potentially yield some lucrative results. The prizes include tickets and VIP passes for a variety of shows here and elsewhere, and it'll take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. our time. Follow the corporate-sponsored fun here. But really, we just like the idea of a "Twitter Scavenger Hunt."
As it turns out, this is actually their second "Twitter Scavenger Hunt." What was the first one like? "Find an out-of-place, vaguely pretentious quote on Ashton Kutcher's Twitter." Hmm, let's see: "The healthiest competition occurs when average people win by putting in above average effort. Colin Powell." Hey, I win! Or maybe it doesn't have to be famous people. "Find a tweet from your friend complaining about how tired they are at work today." I'm ready. Let's get this thing started.
