MP3: The Living Suns, 'Golden Sky'

It's been a while since we've heard from Fullerton's the Living Suns, one of our favorite local bands, who did the Thursday night residency at Gypsy Lounge in July, but have been pretty quite since then. But the silence has been broken! Band manager Bill Bennett has provided us with an mp3 of one of their new tunes, tentatively titled "Golden Sky." And it's a good one, even if it's just a demo--solid instrumental build, and a little different than what they've put out before. Check it out below.

Bennett's also the managing director of Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, and has let us know about an upcoming benefit for the charity. Pianist Graeme Winder will be playing the Pageant of the Masters' Forum Theatre on September 18, with a portion of the profits going to the fund. It's also Winder's CD release show. More info here.
