Not totally sure where this image has been lifted from, but come on: babe in bikini? Big-ass lion? Does anything say "must-see show" more than that? (Copious amounts of pink also help.)
All of this wouldn't mean much, though, if the show was going to be lame. Thankfully, that seems very unlikely. Costa Mesa's Semi Sweet, who claim that their band started with a "bitch fight and a hose," are readying their new EP, and celebrating said release with a show this Thursday at Detroit Bar. The show's rounded out by Silver Lake's Links and fellow female-fronted Orange County group the Studiofix. $5, but that includes "free CDs and giveaways," so there you go. Scantily clad jungle ladies not guaranteed.
