THIS WEEKEND: Final Weekend of Shows at the OC Super Fair

It's that sad time of the year, when fair season is just about over. (Insert joke about saying goodbye to bizarre fried foods here.) The OC Super Fair ends on Sunday, but there's a show each night until then to help you bid farewell to the magical land of ferris wheels and zucchini dogs.

Tonight is the Black Eyed Peas (seen here photographed at this past May's Wango Tango at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater), one of the biggest groups in pop and surely the biggest currently popular acts booked at this year's fair. Interesting in going? Well, pay heed to this warning from fair organizers themselves:

"The Black Eyed Peas concert is sold out. If you already have tickets, please plan on arriving at least one hour before the show. We are anticipating a lot of traffic and limited parking."

Sounds like tonight's gonna be a good, good night, indeed.

Saturday's show features Melissa Etheridge. The gig is subtitled "Live and Alone" so maybe don't count on an opening act? All tickets are $39.50, starts at 8 p.m. Sunday is another older band (a fair staples, sure, but this one's had a lot of good ones). Tickets start at $12.50.
