Well, this rules. Yeah Yeah Yeahs are coming to the lovely Fox Theater in Pomona on September 15. Why, that's nearly a month away--which means that tickets are on sale soon. Like, two hours soon. There's a 24-hour pre-sale going on from 10 a.m. today until 10 a.m. on Friday right here. Password is "BLITZ," as in It's Blitz, their rad third album which came out earlier this year. (Read our review here.) General on-sale, for whatever meager scraps might be left at that point, is 10 a.m. this Saturday, August 15.
Sure, the YYYs played Coachella this year (as the above picture shows), and the KROQ Weenie Roast at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine back in May. But Karen O, Nick Zinner and Brian Chase are three people you legitimately can't get tired of watching live, and a headlining show is much different than a festival dealy. Tickets are $28--general admission floor or GA balcony.
