What, did your favorite NOT win that year? I suspect so. Taylor is doing just fine and not under any one else's thumb, to do as he pleases. I have a feeling he will be singing and performing and entertaining people long after many who have been promoted up the wazoo (which of course does NOT include Mr. Taylor Hicks) from AI and TPTB and some critics/media/music editors. Maybe you should do yourself a favor and go meet him or go to a show so you can find out what a winner looks and sounds like.
