Incoming: Lila Downs, Jamie Foxx at Grove of Anaheim

An acclaimed Mexican singer and an Academy Award winner--yep, a couple of very different shows are coming to the Grove of Anaheim this summer.
Lila Downs (pictured), whose half-covers, half-new material Shake Away/Ojo De Culebra came out last fall, is coming to the Anaheim venue on August 26. Tickets go on sale this Saturday (May 16) at noon, $25-$35.

Jamie Foxx--yes, the same Jamie Foxx of the recently released weepy The Soloist, Collateral and, uh, Booty Call--furthers his music career past his "Gold Digger" spot with a show on July 2. Tickets for that are on sale Friday for $85-$100. Yikes! That's how you reap the benefits of winning a billion awards for playing a music legend. He was just at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine for a "special appearance" at KIIS-FM's Wango Tango, so if that tantalized you for more Foxx action, you're in luck!
