Incoming: Dandy Warhols Coming to Glass House!

Here's something worth getting excited about as we toil through this waking life. Portland, Oregon's Dandy Warhols are coming to the Glass House in Pomona just a little under a month from now, on June 5. Tickets are on sale this Saturday (May 9) at noon, $20 at the door, $18 in advance.

I'm pretty psyched, the Dandys are definitely in the list of "bands that I dig that I've never gotten to see live before." They're touring behind last year's ...Earth to the Dandy Warhols..., and a new remix EP available on their MySpace or at dandywarhols.com. Plus, they've got a lifetime of goodwill built up with nerds (such as myself) for this. (Courtney Taylor-Taylor was even on the show, OMG.)

Also happening at the Glass House: the amusingly named, to various levels, metal bands Hatebreed, Chimaira, Winds of Plague, Dying Fetus and Toxic Holocaust on August 18. $20. Tickets on sale tomorrow at noon.
