TONIGHT: Dinner with Dave (and the Yellow Red Sparks)

Twice a month (the second and fourth Wednesday, to be exact), Dave Mau hosts Dinner with Dave at Memphis in downtown Santa Ana. It combines two awesome things: free food and free music. Tonight, the music will be provided by central OC folk rockers Yellow Red Sparks, pictured, who may or may not be the subject of an upcoming Locals Only in the pages of OC Weekly (ahem). Don't let the fact the the Dinner with Dave Web site calls them "Red Yellow Sparks" fool you. (Though I'm sure those dudes are cool, too.) Added bonus: our pal DJ Oldboy will be spinning (records. Not himself. He'd get so dizzy!).

Things start around 9 p.m., with the food (and YRS) starting at 10. Sort of a late dinner for some, but perfect for those of us that usually go to bed around 4 and wake up at noon. There are some other people who do that, right?
