TOMORROW: Local Natives and The Union Line at The Gypsy Lounge

Okay, I guess we all saw this coming. Local Natives have officially changed their origin to Silver Lake on their Myspace page....sigh, okay guys. Well, hopefully you and the OC can still be friends. For those of you who have followed the harmaonizing echoes, rumbling rhythms and spangly guitar chords of this band since their Mission Viejo days, tomorrow may be one of the slim chances you get to rock out to these guys in South County for a month or so, maybe more. They will be playing The Gypsy Lounge with sonic peers The Union Line scheduled for 8 p.m. Both bands have garnered a good portion of praise during their forays outside the Orange Curtain and their recurrent trips to places like Oregon, San Francisco and Fresno (California's undercover outcove of culture...shhhh, tell no one)  just add more proof to the pudding. Tomorrow night is sure to produce a packed room so get there early and make sure to get a few drinks on you so you'll be plenty loose when all the clapping and boot stomping starts.
