Incoming: Dave Matthews Band at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater

Hey, Dave Matthews Band are coming! That never happens! OK, it happens a lot. And depending on your perspective, you're either all "Yay! Dave Matthews Band!" right now, or "Oh, gross. Dave Matthews Band." There really does not seem to be any middle ground. The gig, at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, is just over six months away--Sept. 13--and they'll be promoting their first studio album in four years, Big Whiskey and the Groogrux King. Yes, that's what it's actually called. Tickets on sale this Friday, March 13 at 11 a.m. exclusively through Live Nation. Switchfoot, whom I lovingly wrote about a few months ago here, open.
