Here's something I find totally mesmerizing: Checkpoint 303, a collaboration between Tunisian "sound cutter" SC MoCha and Israel-based "sound catcher" SC Yosh (you just can't label 'em DJs anymore), mixing intricate aural work and boomtastic beats with field recordings taped in the eternally FULABA Middle East. Love how the sound of the rifle shots are perfectly mixed. If "love" is the right word to use . . .
